( FAQ's ) Frequently Asked Questions
NO !!!! Alcohol thins your blood. This means that you will bleed more during piercing and tattoo procedure. The same goes for weed and pain pills.
Tattoos will heal very faded and would require touch-ups which will be at your expense.
Piercings can continuously bleed for days, even weeks on end ruining your clothing and bedding.
If you are found to have drunk before or during an appointment, service will be halted or denied, and you will forfeit your deposit and could even be liable for the time wasted.
You may however consume alcohol, weed and pain meds at least 2 hours after a piercing or tattoo in small quantities. As healing progresses you may return to your regular habits, but keep in mind that both tattoos and piercings remain open wounds on the body for at least 1 week to 2 months at a minimum.
Assari only used 316L Surgical Steel, G23 Titanium and Bioflex jewellery which are all adequate for piercings. However, the G23 Titanium and Bioflex are implant grade materials making them generally safer for sensitive client or client how are new to piercings and unsure if they might have reactions to certain pieces.
I understand the cultural significance of body modifications, but I have concerns about performing piercings on children who can't provide informed consent, especially since piercings aren't medically necessary. This is my way to prioritize my clients' autonomy and future well-being (in this case, your baby). As they grow, develop, and mature their own identities, they can make this decision with your superior guidance when they are older.
What seems harmless now might lead to regret or body dysphoria later. Regardless, I'd be happy to discuss alternative ways to celebrate your child's identity or culture when they're older and can make informed decisions about their bodies.
Tattoos are charged by an hourly rate. Therefore, quotes are generally subject to change if the appointment runs longer or shorter. Each design has its own minimum time requirement but, as an artist, I get to determine the detail and quality I put into the tattoo for you which does increase the time spent. I won't compromise on this, and no artist would.
